Founded in 1959, by the late Robin Bryan and his wife Shelia, Bryans Salads began as a small family business and has grown into a successful commercial enterprise, supplying to many of your favourite supermarkets and ready to eat food chains.
As the business grew and they began to produce more and more varieties of bagged salad, their son, Robert, took over as Managing Director. In recent years, Robert’s sons; Joe, Sam, Matt and George have all taken their place in the ever-growing business with a fifth son, Henry, set to finish school and join the Bryans Salads Ltd team in the coming years. As the next generation of the Bryan family grows and prospers, we are certain the business can continue to grow and prosper with them.
With 250 acres of our own crops grown on the fertile West Lancashire plain in the summer months, we are able to follow the products life from seed to shelf. Everything is cut and stacked the old-fashioned way, by hand.
From humble beginnings, with the combination of the Bryan’s passion for their product and their loyal staff, the company continues to flourish.
